In April, the outbreak of Covid-19 was getting worse, with nearly 30,000 new cases of positively infected people nationwide every day, medical resources, beds and medical staff were all in short supply. All the lives were being challenged immensely. In such a severe situation, many people applied to be volunteers to fight against the Covid-19. YDF Valve also has its’ own volunteer representatives!
Volunteer: Zhiming Zhang, Suzhou Branch
In March, when Covid broke out in Suzhou, Zhiming Zhang, as an excellent member of the Communist Party, responded to the Party’s call and immediately applied to become a community volunteer to assist medical workers in prevention of Covid. In April, when the epidemic recurred, he remained on the front line of the fight against the Covid.
Waking up at 4:00 a.m., collecting anti-epidemic supplies at 5:00 a.m., and meeting at the nucleic acid test site at 6:00 a.m., the volunteers and medical staff have been busy for several hours while most people are still in dreamland! There's no such thing as a good time, but it's just that someone is carrying the load for you!
Zhiming Zhang said that the weather was getting hot, after taking off the prevention suit, the close-fitting clothes were already soaked with sweat, and he had to take a shower before going out.

In the daily regional nucleic acid testing, Xia Yong as a volunteer, assisted the gatekeeper to carry out the inspection work, verify the double code, and to supervise the release. The morning is the peak of the community, volunteer work has given him a deep understanding that the workload of the gatekeeper during the Covid time is no less than the front-line health care workers, everyone works hard!
